Kattenburg Collection, 2011
Produced in collaboration with Weenink, a generationally owned bespoke clothing shop for service workers in Rotterdam.
The graphic pattern was derived from a 19th century advertisement placed by the family in a newspaper. A particular line of clothing that did not sell well was used to tailor a new collection of adjusted and printed garments, that were then displayed in the windows.
Exhibited as part of Melanchotopia at the Witte de With, now known as Kunstinstitut Melly, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
